THE THROSTLE'S NEST

Good evening with a group of Wigton Players at the John Peel Theatre last night as they read through the script of The Throstle's Nest, a new play especially written for Wigton's 750th celebrations by a few members of North Cumbria Scriptwriters
The players are now in the process of casting and rehearsing- more news soon. If anyone is interested in taking part, please contact me through this blog and I will pass on your details.
Performance dates: 31st may, 1st and 2nd June

AFRICAN BEADS AND ENGLISH ROYALTY

Local MP Rory Stewart has given Wigton just the sort of boost it needs in this, its 750th year as a market town. Prince Charles is to visit our grand little town, and I'm hoping he will at least look in the window of the Fountain Gallery, which has a new look this week, ready for spring.

My new African Jewellery collection is in, featuring hand made recycled glass beads and hand made Berber Silver.
