The Start of the Wigton Renaissance?

Wigton is a grand lal spot, and I am delighted that it now seems to be on the up. Rory Stewart apparently pressed for Wigton to be one of the towns in the Your Square Mile pilot. Here is the website for the Wigton project.

Next year is the 750th anniversary of the town's Market Charter, and all sorts of exciting events will be happening. Wigton's own "Spring Fling" will be one of them. Check out the events happening this year!
